All the sounds that surround us
All the noices that dumbfound us
The clatter and the clammer of the clutter in our lives.
Cars and streets make silent shatter
Idle minds fill up with idle chatter
If we fill our void that's all matters.
Why are the drums so silent?
Why can't we hear the rhythm?
What's wrong with you and I?
Why are the drums so silent?
Why can't we hear the rhythm from the heels of believers
Marching to the garden as they strive.
We've digitised the revelation
Does our rehearsed recitation
Go any deeper than our thrones.
Our call to prayer seems to raise up to the sky
Conferences and lectures, seminars for you and I.
The words that blow away with then a sheet that
makes us cry.
Why are the drums so silent?
Why can't we hear the rhythm?
What's wrong with you and I?
Why are the drums so silent?
Why can't we hear the rhythm from the heels of believers
Marching to the garden as they strive.
And if we can just be brave enough to be each others meer.
We may finally recognise the face of conscience that we fear
And if we can take the time to mute the noise
we’ve built around ourselves
The rhythm of a heartbeat and the purpose may be clear.
If we beat the drums
(A whisper of peace)
Beat the drums
(Moving through the land)
Beat the drums!
If we beat the drums of hope and faith
We will all fall into rhythm
I have faith in you and I
If we beat the drums of hope and faith
Then we will feel the rhythm
From our footsteps and our striving marching to the
garden as we thrive.
If we beat the drums of hope and faith
We will all fall into rhythm
I have faith in you and I
If we beat the drums of hope and faith
Then we will feel the rhythm
From our footsteps and our striving marching to the garden
as we die.

Turn to Allah - by Zain Bhikha
Where are you going?
Where are you going?
North, south, east or the west?
Where are you headed?
Oh where are you headed?
Turn to Allah.
He’s the best.
Cause he is there wherever you are.
So turn, turn, turn to Allah.
Where do you live?
Oh where do you live?
In a tent or in a town?
It doesn’t matter where you live.
You can soon be found.
Cause he is there wherever you are.
So turn, turn, turn to Allah.
Allah hu Allah hu
Jalla jalla la hu.
The Veil - by Dawud Wharnsby Ali
They say oh poor girl you’re so beautiful you know
It’s a shame that you cover up your beauty so
She just smiles and graciously responds reassuringly
This beauty that I have is just a simple part of me
This body that I have no stranger has the right to see
These longs clothes the shawl I wear
Ensure my modesty
Faith is more essential fashion
Wouldn’t you agree
This hijab this mark of piety.
Is an act of faith a symbol
For all the world to see
A simple cloth to preserve her dignity
So lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity.
They tell her girl don’t you know this is the west and you are free
You don’t need to be oppressed ashamed of your femininity
She just shakes her head and she speaks so assuredly
See the billboards and the magazines
That line the checkout aisles
With their phony painted faces and their air brushed smile
With their sheer clothes and low cut gowns
They are really not for me
You call it freedom and I call it anarchy
And this hijab this mark of piety.
Is an act of faith a symbol
For all the world to see
A simple cloth to preserve her dignity
So lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity.
Lift the veil from your heart to see the heart of purity .
Lift the veil from your heart and seek the heart of purity.
It’s a shame that you cover up your beauty so
She just smiles and graciously responds reassuringly
This beauty that I have is just a simple part of me
This body that I have no stranger has the right to see

Wedding Song - by Zain Bhikha
Today you become man and wife,
Fulfilling the Sunnah as way of life.
Today you find serenity,
May your life be filled with sincerity.
There is no happier day of your life,
Than the virtue of being man and wife!
There’s joy without any end,
Allah’s blessing on this day does descend,
Descend!
Nikahun mubarakun
Mubarakun!
Zawajun mubarakun
Mubarakun!
Nikahu bin sunnati
Ma kalan nabio wasshaheed
Nikahun mubarakun
Mubarakun!
As you walk together hand in hand
Allah has given you a companion and friend
To stand and always be seen
As man and wife fulfilling the deen
From this day and forever be true
Cherish this life that’s destined for you
Live your life with kindness and care
Remember Allah will always be there,
Be there!
Nikahun mubarakun
Mubarakun!
Zawajun mubarakun
Mubarakun!
Nikahu bin sunnati
Ma kalan nabio wasshaheed
Nikahun mubarakun

There is joy there is happiness
In this union let them always be blessed
Allah will bless your home with light
Your heart with never ending delight
Two worlds today have now become one
The road ahead is as bright as the sun
Oh Allah! Keep this marriage so strong
In your hands does their future belong,
Belong!

Silent Sunlight - by Dawud Wharnsby Ali
In the name of God, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
By the glorious morning light and by the night when it is still,
Your guardian Lord has not forsaken you, nor is he displeased.
And verily the hereafter is better for you than the present.
And soon will your guardian Lord give you that,
Where with you will be well pleased.
Did he not find you an orphan and give you shelter?
And he found you wandering and he gave you guidance?
And he found you in need and he made you independent?
Therefore treat not the orphans with harshness,
Nor repulse the petitioner,
In the bounty of your Lord, proclaim!
Lailahaillaallah
Lailahaillaallah
Silent sunlight,
Welcome in,
There is work I must now begin.
All my dreams have blown away,
And the children wait to play.
They’ll soon remember,
Things to do when the heart is young,
And the night is done,
And the sky is blue.
Lailahaillaallah
Lailahaillaallah
Morning songbird sing away,
Learn the tune to another day.
Bring your wings and choose a groove,
Sing a song of love and truth.
We’ll soon remember if you do,
When all things were tall,
And our friends were small,
And the world was new.
Lailahaillaallah
Lailahaillaallah
Sleepy horses heave away,
Put your backs to a golden hay.
Don’t ever look behind at the work you’ve done,
For your work has just begun.
They’ll be the evening in the end,
But till that time arrives ,
You can rest your eyes and begin again.
Lailahaillaallah,
Silent sunlight,
Lailahaillaallah,

Orphan Child - by Zain Bhikha
She was just standing there
Little girl all alone
Barely covered head to toe
Barely just twelve years old.
Why is she all alone?
Why’s the world just so cold?
Why don’t we play our part?
What is hard in our heart?
What is hard in our heart?
Underneath the waterfall
Million dollar shopping mall
Two boys play their games
Helps to keep them nice and warm
Thousand people walking by
Feeding their vain desire
Don’t they see? Are they blind?
Allah loves the orphan child
Allah loves the orphan child.
Like our beloved Muhammad
Peace be upon him
He was an orphan and Allah sheltered him
Whose status is given to these children, children.
Just by the waterside
Right next to that orphan child
Families come to play
They don’t see that’s where she stays.
Looking through empty eyes
Who cares that she might die?
Oh my child don’t you cry
Allah loves you more than I
Allah loves you more than I.
She was just standing there
Barely just twelve years old
What is hard in our hearts?
Why’s the world just so cold?
She was just standing there
Barely just twelve years old
What is hard in our hearts?
Why’s the world just so cold?
She was just standing there
Barely just twelve years old

I Am A Muslim- by Zain Bhikha
When I was born,
The first words that I had heard,
Were the words of Allah,
Be whispered through my ears,
And as I felt Allah’s power in my soul,
The day Islam took me in its’ fold.
I am a Muslim,
Islam's my deen,
Allah my Lord,
His word Quran,
Mohamed Prophet,
Praise be upon him.
I’m a Muslim for all of time.
As I grew up,
Walking in this great big world,
I gazed in awe at the wonders of Allah.
And as I learnt the cruel lessons of life,
Islam shone through as my guiding light.
I am a Muslim,
Islam's my deen,
Allah my Lord,
His word Quran,
Mohamed Prophet,
Praise be upon him.
I’m a Muslim for all of time.
Look at me now,
Family around my death bed.
I know not when Allah will call me home.
The life I led oh what a blessed thing!
As death comes to me these words I will sing.
I am a Muslim,
Islam's my deen,

Have You Heard?- by Zain Bhikha
Each day we are reminded
And each day we say
There’s not much that we can do
It seems so far away
So we live our lives in silence
Pretending not to hear
The voices of our people
That cries oh so clear
Why do we stand by spectating?
While our brothers cry Jihad
We are bound by one conviction
We believe in Allah!
Have you heard of Kosova?
Of Afghanistan?
Have you heard of Palestine?
Of Shishan?
Have you heard of all these people?
Persecuted in their land.
Don’t you know that all these people
Are dying for Islam!
Have you heard, have you heard, have you heard?
Each day is like another,
Nothing seems to change.
Today he lose his brother,
Tomorrow’ll be the same.
Yet his faith makes him stronger.
He’s come oh so far.
The pain in his heart hardens,
By his love for Allah.
Oh I envy you my brother,
In adversity you pray!
You know that heaven awaits you,
At the end of this day!
Have you heard of Kosova?
Of Afghanistan?
Have you heard of Bosnea?
Of Shishan?
Have you heard of all these people?
Persecuted in their land.

Fortunate is He- by Zain Bhikha
Fortunate is he
Who remembers Allah abundantly
Will lead abstrictions cannot mild his way
His thoughts of Allah and judgement day.
Fortunate is he
Who remembers Allah abundantly
Will lead abstrictions cannot mild his way
His thoughts of Allah and judgement day.
Righteous is he
Who bows to one he cannot see
Whose deeds do not spring without Bismillah
Fulfilling his tasks with perfect taqwah.
Devowed is he
Who supplicates to Allah intensively
Whose heart is merciful, tender and kind
His gaze on life after this world will be high.
Prosperous is he
Who spends his wealth on the poor and needy
Who speaks a kind word to kid and neighbour
Ever grateful for Allah’s favour.
Guided is he
Who prays Allah with punctuality
Early morning Tahajjud he prays
For Allah’s pleasure and earnest he prays.
God- fearing is he
Who contemplates death early
Who starts he sees his demands
And tears for over waste of sacrifice.
Blessed is he
Who sees Allah’s praises fervently
Blessed be all of Allah’s slaves
Allah’s mercy be with them always.
Fortunate is he
Who remembers Allah abundantly
Will lead abstrictions cannot mild his way
His thoughts of Allah and judgement day

Who bows to one he cannot see
Whose deeds do not spring without Bismillah
Fulfilling his tasks with perfect taqwah.
Devowed is he
Who supplicates to Allah intensively
Whose heart is merciful, tender and kind
His gaze on life after this world will be high.
Prosperous is he
Who spends his wealth on the poor and needy
Who speaks a kind word to kid and neighbour
Ever grateful for Allah’s favour.
Guided is he
Who prays Allah with punctuality
Early morning Tahajjud he prays
For Allah’s pleasure and earnest he prays.
God- fearing is he
Who contemplates death early
Who starts he sees his demands
And tears for over waste of sacrifice.
Blessed is he
Who sees Allah’s praises fervently
Blessed be all of Allah’s slaves
Allah’s mercy be with them always.
Fortunate is he
Who remembers Allah abundantly
Will lead abstrictions cannot mild his way
His thoughts of Allah and judgement day
Farewell- by Zain Bhikha

Mount Hira - by Zain Bhikha
The same moon, the same star
Gazed right down at Rasulullah
They saw him climb, down from Hira
Now a Prophet, Prophet of Allah
And in the sky, was angel Jibrael
He said oh Muhammad, o Rasulullah.
And so he walked, into Makkah
In his heart echoed Iqra, Iqra
And from the world, darkness was gone
With salvation, rising with dawn
Fro here was a blessing, a gift from Allah
And the light of Muhammad, outshone that star.
Muhammad is, and always will be
The last and final Prophet of Allah
He was a mercy, unto the universe
Peace and blessings be on Al- Mustafa.
Se he began, this perfect man
Sending his word, across the land
Leading only, by his Sunnah
And the Quran, the word of Allah
He brought the answer to this cruel world
Our beloved Prophet, Muhamamad.
Muhammad is, and always will be
The last and final Prophet of Allah
He was a mercy, unto the universe
Peace and blessings be on Al- Mustafa.
So from that cave, in Mount Hira
To the holy city, of Madinah
In life and death, he showed Islam
Opened our hearts to the wealth of Iman
So oh Allah, hear my dua
Keep me as part of the Prophet’s ummah.
Muhammad is, and always will be
The last and final Prophet of Allah
He was a mercy, unto the universe
Peace and blessings be on Al- Mustafa.
The same moon, the same star
Gazed right down at Rasulullah
They saw him climb, down from Hira
Now a Prophet, Prophet of Allah
And in the sky, was angel Jibrael
He said oh Muhammad, o Rasulullah
He said oh Muhammad, Nabi of Allah
He said oh Muhammad, Prophet of Allah.
Gazed right down at Rasulullah

Cloud of Islam by Zain Bhikha
You know, from the start
A message was sent from above
A message so clear and so true
A message so final for you
The time has come
To let the whole world know
This message of peace and love
Came only from Allah above...
Have faith, step onto the cloud of Islam
And you will discover the light of Iman
Proclaim this message entrusted to you
And the cloud of Islam... will carry you
You know, for all Man
messengers were sent to guide
From Adam to Nuh to Musa
Ibrahim, Ismail, Isa
Then came, Muhammad
the last and final messenger
confirming what was said before
perfecting this deen of Allah
Have faith, step onto the cloud of Islam
And you will discover the light of Iman
Proclaim this message entrusted to you
And the cloud of Islam... will carry you
I know that its not always easy to see
the difference from right and wrong, what would it be
but people this message lies here in our hands
Happiness, peace and the answer for Man
Have faith, step onto the cloud of Islam
And you will discover the light of Iman
Proclaim this message entrusted to you
And the cloud of Islam... will carry you
So now, dont you see
Inviting to Allah should be
every Muslims responsibility
Everybody, you and me.
Have faith, step onto the cloud of Islam
And you will discover the light of Iman
Proclaim this message entrusted to you
And the cloud of Islam... will carry you
A message was sent from above
